The route optimizer uses real-world vehicle routing information to determine the most efficient routing for your technicians.  Is has support for several routing strategies to  meet the needs of your business.

Working With the Route Optimizer

The route optimizer is available from the "Schedule" screen.  Navigate to the bottom of the screen and locate the "Optimize Route" option.

After selecting the "Optimize Route" option a dialog window will open.

By default, all of your appointments matching your selected scheduler filters will be selected.  If you wish you may exclude certain appointments from the route optimizer at this step

Note: If you choose to exclude appointments from the optimizer they will be completely ignored.  You must manually assign a start time and technician to these jobs after optimization is complete.

A maximum of 40 technicians can be optimized at one time.

A Starting and Ending address must be input for the technician.

There are several options available to the user when configuring a route optimization.
