Making a custom referral form for an account is easy. Getting a link to that form when you're done is even easier.

Contents

What is a Referral Link?

A referral link in Omega is a special URL that leads to a web form that another party can use to send Web Leads to you. Each of these forms is tied to an Account in Omega, and that Account will be assigned to any jobs that are created using that form.

How do I customize a referral form?

Step 1

Open the Admin menu and select Accounts, then select the account you want to make a referral form for.

Step 2

Select the Form tab, and choose which type of form you want.

Continue customizing your form the way you like.

How do I generate a link to my Referral Form?

Your link generates automatically. You can find it and its QR code at the bottom of the page.

You can use the Copy to clipboard button, or use the QR code.

You can see what your form looks like by copying the link and pasting it into a browser tab.

FAQ

What happens when the referral form is submitted?

When the web form is submitted, it will create a new lead (or work order if the service date field was filled in).

If you assigned a Result Template, that template will be displayed to whomever just submitted the form. If that template has a recipient, a copy of the template will be sent to that recipient via email or text depending on that template's settings. (See Template Variables for more info about templates)

Any templates that trigger when a job is created, when a web lead form is submitted, etc will trigger.

How is the new job's Location determined?

The new job is assigned the Location that is closest to the centroid of the ZIP Code that was entered in the form.

How does the Result Template field work?

You can use this dropdown to select a Template that will be displayed to the referrer after the referral form is submitted. If that template has a recipient, a copy of the template will be sent to that recipient via email or text depending on that template's settings. (See Template Variables for more info about templates)
