What barcode scanner should I use?

Right now, Omega supports the Netum C750 Bluetooth Barcode Scanner. It is available on Amazon

How do I configure my barcode scanner?

The following assumes your scanner has the factory default settings

Flip the switch on the underside of the scanner to the "on" position and press the button.

Scan the following barcodes in the order given:

1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

How do I pair and connect my scanner to my mobile device?

1. Flip the switch on the underside of the scanner to the "on" position and press the button. The little LED should blink blue to show that the scanner is discoverable. (Solid blue means it is already connected to a device)

2. Open the bluetooth settings on your mobile device, and makes sure bluetooth is on. Depending on your mobile device, you may need to choose Pair new device or something similar so your device will start looking for the scanner

3. In the list of found devices, look for C barcode scanner. Select it and tap Pair

4. Enjoy the sweet sound of success (one long beep). The LED should now be a steady, unwavering blue

How do I unpair my scanner?

Easy peasy! Make sure to "forget" or remove the scanner in your device's bluetooth settings, then scan this barcode to unpair the scanner

Done!
