Ordering parts from Carlex isn't an automated process, but that doesn't mean it's difficult.

How do I order parts from Carlex?

By default, Carlex is enabled for your locations in Omega, but Carlex will only appear on select parts currently unavailable in your market.

To place an order with Carlex, simply click the "ORDER" button at the bottom of the Carlex card just as you would with any other vendor. This will take you to the New Purchase Order screen. Fill out the form as usual, and click "SAVE AND PLACE ORDER" in the bottom right. Doing this will send your order request to Carlex, who will contact you, collect payment, and provide any additional information about your order.

How do I know how much shipping and handling will cost?

Shipping and handling is included in the price of all Carlex orders.

When will my order arrive?

All orders are shipped from Carlex in Tennessee via FedEx or LTL, which typically takes 2-5 business days. Carlex shipping will confirm shipping times with you.

Can I disable Carlex as a vendor?

If desired, you can disable Carlex as a vendor for a location just like any other vendor. Just navigate to "Locations" under "Admin" on the left. Then, after selecting a location, click on the Vendors tab and disable Carlex by clicking the Toggle on the right.
