Effective Jun 24, 2025 Safelite will begin transmitting referrals to Omega EDI automatically.

What does this mean and how will it help my business?

At the time of the assignment of a referral from SGC Network a new job will be created in Omega assigned to the closest servicing location and all the information related to the referral will automatically populate in Omega. This information will include:

  • Insured First and Last Name

  • Insured Address and Phone Number

  • Insurance Company

  • Referral Number

  • Date of Loss

  • Deductible

  • Year/Make/Mode/Style of the assigned vehicle

  • Complete VIN number

In addition to the information automatically populating in the job a link to the electronic dispatch will appear on the job screen and inside the job.

When selecting the dispatch a new screen will appear with additional information including:

  • Coverage Status

  • Requested Service Type

  • Coverage Rates

  • Mobile Service Request Status

Important Note: If you already have an open job with the SGC referral, claim, or VIN which matches the dispatch Omega will automatically attach the dispatch to the existing job.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Will this work for State Farm Insurance?

Yes! On July 1, 2025 all referrals assigned from State Farm insurance will automatically populate in Omega.

How do I turn on Safelite electronic dispatches in Omega?

No need! Electronic dispatches from SGC network will be automatically enabled within your Omega software beginning June 24, 2025.

What if the insurance company account is not automatically assigned to the job?

Insurance companies will only be auto assigned if you have a corresponding insurance account in Accounts. To ensure that dispatch assigns to the correct company ensure that the Program ID on the dispatch is the same as the SGC Program ID in your Account Settings.

Will I still receive emails and faxes from Safelite?

In addition to the electronic dispatch Omega will also send an email dispatch to the designated email in your Company Profile. This email can be updated in the ADMIN settings in the COMPANY PROFILES section, select the desired company profile and update the email in the BASIC settings and save. SGC Network will no longer send referral emails or faxes to Omega customers.

Can I disable emails for dispatches?

Yes. Navigate to Admin > Templates and disable the SGC EDI Dispatch template to prevent emails from being sent when a dispatch is received. You can also manage the email destination within the template.

Can I disable Safelite electronic dispatch in Omega?

Yes. If you elect to disable electronic dispatches, you will still receive the SGC network dispatches via email. To disable electronic dispatches from SGC network, navigate to Admin > Company Profiles and select the desired company profile. Under the EDI Setup tab toggle Enable SGC EDI Dispatches off.
