This tutorial guides you through setting up a basic pricing profile in Omega. You will learn how to create, configure, and save pricing profiles to manage customer pricing effectively. Before starting, ensure you have access to the pricing profiles and correct pricing information.

1. Navigate to Pricing Profiles Page

To create a pricing profile, you will want to go to the pricing profiles page. To access that, click the arrow to the right of admin, then scroll to pricing profiles and select.

5. Understand Discount Settings

As you can see here, we have laminated and tempered set for 30 in the column on the left, and the dropdown is set to discount. This means that the laminated and tempered parts are getting a 30% discount off list pricing.

6. Review Labor Pricing Configuration

For labor, you'll see that we have a $100 option and it's set to flat. This means that labor is $100 regardless of how many hours the work is done for.

7. Configure Adhesive Pricing Details

For adhesive, you can see that I have set it for 20 and then each. This means that for every adhesive on the job, there is a charge of $20. There are additional options available, such as a markup based on a vendor's pricing, which if you set a markup for migrant with a flat amount, that will be a flat markup on migrants pricing.

8. Explore Vendor-Based Markup Options

If you do a percentage, it would be a percentage of the amount from the vendor on top of the amount that they are charging. And lastly, there is a markup based on the vendor priorities where you can set the pricing to have a markup and then order vendor priority based on availability.

9. Note Advanced Pricing Options

The additional options will be explained in an Advanced Article. Once you have set these fields, such as $60 for a first windshield repair and $250 for a static recal, $300 for Dynamic, and $500 for both, just as examples.

10. Save Pricing Profile

After you have created the pricing profile, you are able to select it within an account to assign it to an account or select it from a job's pricing profile field. With pricing profiles, you can manage your costs per customer and set up different rates for different insurance companies based on what they are going to be paying for jobs.
