If you're moving to Omega from GTS, Mainstreet, or Glassbiller, we can import your job history (and accounts where available). Simply provide your Omega account manager with the appropriate reports (.bak file for GTS, CSV files for Mainstreet and Glassbiller), and we'll get you on the schedule.

Customers are allowed up to two imports (typically one pre-go-live and one post-go-live) to ensure your transition to Omega is as smooth as possible. Data imports must be in the appropriate format(s) and contain 100 or more jobs. For reports with less than 100 jobs, we recommend working with your account manager to manually recreate those jobs within Omega.

Exported reports for import into Omega must be submitted either directly to your account manager via email attachment (not OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc. share links), or can be uploaded to an Omega Google Drive folder provided by your account manager. We cannot accept any other forms of report submission for security/privacy purposes.

When jobs are imported, Omega will assign them a new job number, but you can still use the job numbers/IDs from your previous system to search jobs after they've been imported. Job numbers within Omega are created sequentially, so when your data is imported, the job numbers assigned by Omega will be assigned in order of when the data was received by Omega, not chronologically (how old/new the data is). This means that if job history is being imported into Omega post-go-live, the job numbers generated for historical jobs will be higher than the jobs you may currently be working on.

Job imports usually occur during regular office hours are not scheduled unless requested. If you are requesting a data import post-go-live, and you need a clean break in job numbers between historical (imported) data and current, active jobs in Omega, you will need to work with your account manager to schedule a time for those jobs to be imported after-hours. We cannot guarantee clean breaks in job numbers post-go-live if jobs are being created on your account during the import process. Requesting an after-hours import may also put a significant delay on getting your job history into Omega.

Omega is a separate system from GTS, Glassbiller, Mainstreet, etc. While we do our best to ensure jobs are imported accurately, complete parity between systems is unlikely. Differences in how your old system handled items, job totals, payments, etc. prevent us from syncing your data in its entirety. For this reason, we cannot guarantee any reporting for jobs created outside Omega to be accurate.

Please note that we can only import data included in the reports given us by you from your GTS, Mainstreet, and/or Glassbiller accounts. We cannot log into your GTS, Mainstreet, and/or Glassbiller accounts to retrieve data on your behalf.
