This tutorial explains how to create a template that you can send to your customers. Before starting, ensure you have access to the admin section where templates are managed.
1. Navigate to Admin Section
To start, navigate to the admin section.
2. Open Templates Page
3. View and Create Templates
On this page, you will see several templates that have already been created. To create a new template, you click the yellow circle with a plus button in it.
4. Open New Template Form
5. Set Automated Trigger
And then an automated trigger, which is for when a specific event occurs, the
template will then be sent automatically to the recipient.
6. Configure Location-Based Triggers
Next, we'll have a field for enable trigger for locations. This will cause the trigger to only go out for these locations that are specified here. You have the option for all your locations or any individual location that is listed. And you can select multiple in this box.
7. Select Message Recipients
8. Access Email Subject Field
Click the email subject field to enter the subject line for your message.
9. Choose Message Type and Content
The type can be set to either email or SMS. Emails will require an email subject and the body of the email to be entered, where SMS will just require a message entered up to a maximum of 400 characters.
10. Save Template
Once you are completed, you will click the Save button to save your template. The template will then appear on the Templates page.
11. Use Template Variables
When creating a template, you can also use template variables to pre-fill information from the customer's job or details about the customer themselves or the appointment. For more information on Template variables, click here
