Before proceeding, ensure the AI tools setup in Omega has been completed by following the instructions in the How to enable AI tools article.
To connect to Claude CLI, copy the command shown in the AI agent tool just created and paste it into a terminal window.
This will prompt for the OAuth client secret stored earlier — enter it to save the MCP configuration for Claude CLI.
Next, enter the claude command in the terminal, then type /mcp to view the available MCP options. The omega-mcp server should appear under local MCP servers. Continue with authentication for this MCP server; a browser window will open automatically to complete the authentication flow. In case it does not open automatically, paste the link Claude provides into a browser to start the authentication process.
Once authentication is successful, the tools this server offers — based on the configuration in Omega — will be visible.
A quote can then be requested through the command line. Claude CLI will collect the necessary information and generate a quote within Omega.
