Enable 3D Secure for safer transactions
Choose your desired card payment types and statement descriptor
Begin the OmegaPay merchant application process
Go to Admin > Payment Methods
Click the “+” icon in the lower-left corner.
In the Name field, enter something recognizable, such as “OmegaPay”
From the Payment Method Type dropdown, select OmegaPay.
Under Company Profile, select the correct company - your organization details will auto-fill.
Verify your telephone number is present and correct. If not, add a phone number.
Check Require 3D-Secure if you want to enable additional card-holder authentication.
🛡️ We highly recommend enabling 3D Secure to reduce fraud and benefit from liability shift. Note: There’s a small per-transaction fee for 3D Secure processing.
In Statement Descriptor, enter the text you want your customers to see on their bank statements.
⚠️ Once saved, this cannot be changed. Double-check spelling, spacing, and punctuation before saving.
Under Payment Method Types (Schemes), check each card brand or BNPL method you want to accept.
Enter Telephone Number
Enter your Dispute/Support Email (e.g., support@yourcompany.com)
Use an email that the whole organization has access to. This is where dispute notifications will be emailed to.
Click Save.
After saving, you’ll return to the Payment Methods screen. Select your new OmegaPay payment method, then click 'Open Onboarding Link' in the upper-right corner to start your merchant application

📩 Typical underwriting time: 1–2 business days.
🔍 Best Practices & Tips
Enable 3D Secure whenever possible - it can significantly lower chargeback risk.
Use a role-based email (like billing@ or support@) for disputes to ensure your team receives alerts.
Statement descriptor should clearly represent your business name to avoid confusion or chargebacks.
If the UI looks slightly different, note that the portal is updated periodically — check for similar settings under Payment Methods.
